That's what Friends are For
Look at how adorable these kids are. Lydia got some awesome Lion and Tiger outfits from her Aunt Robbie(thanks again dawg) so all day Tuesday Hannah and Lydia played Lions and Tigers. That was Hannah's best roar...it was quite real! They were the cutest little jungle friends. This is Paul giving his most dashing smile of course. Lydia and Lillian eating cupcake cones at Hannah's Birthday party, aren't they a riot?! I'm so grateful for the kids in this neighborhood. Lydia loves all of her friends so much. I'll have to post some pics of Maddie and Jackson too. She calls Jackson, "Jacksie".

Lydia is THREE
How fun it was to celebrate Lydia's birthday. She knew exactly what was going on (she slept through last year's). I bought these little lanterns from the dollar store and had them strung up in the front yard. Then it down poured. So, whatever, we still had a good time and she loved all her friends coming to "eat Lyddie's cake today". Our neighbors upstairs, Joe and Jen, have a dog named Shelby, Lydia is convinced they are sisters. And Lilly and Hannah and Maddie and Paul were there to dig into the cake. Bobby and Amanda took the pictures and Tasha couldn't get away from the camera this time. Also, Natalie and Taylor were there too, you just can't see them. Taylor played the guitar and the kids went bonkers.
CAKES!!!!!
Happy Birthday to Lydia...more to come. Happy Father's Day to Tom...this is the extent of our partying. I just love decorating cakes. I know I'm not even that good, but it's fun and exciting and a good way to blow off energy from the big days we've been having. So, really, I'm not good, but I'm sure proud of my cakes just for the silly fact that I can create! Both were made with a buttercream frosting. I used fondant for the flowers and the horn and tail of the buffalo. And I would just like to say that Tom's cake actually looked better in real life. You could more definition instead of just frosting. Oh well, cake will be cake and by that time my frosting was getting really warm in my hand.

Happy Anniversary two months ago
So, I've been gone for a while, and a lot has happened. ALOT. But, oddly enough I just want to blog about our 4th anniversary. I can't even remember what all went on that day, but I did make him a cake. Okay, well I went to this cake decorating RS night and I got to take the fondant cake home, but Lizzy did make me do the jeans and the flowers( I was glad she did the writing). I was so proud I had a hard time eating it....but not too hard. "Forever in Blue Jeans" by Neil Diamond is our song, thus it became our theme. Don't you love the girl jeans?! I wish I had more time to put legs on, but just the bums took a while for me and it was pretty late by then. After the kids went to bed and I came home from RS this is what we ate and reminisced. I love that boy.
