38 weeks

Last week I turned 38 weeks. This Thursday I will be 39. Next week I will be 40 and it will be all over.
GOOD BYE to the five pillows I sleep with every night, swelling, leg cramps, nerve pinches, heart burn, car sickness, rib stretches, back spazims, pelvic pain, siatic nerve pain and dirt cravings (no i'm not anemic, but yes I crave dirt with every single darn pregnancy. I'm weird I know).
HELLO cute little baby that I know wants to come out as badly as I want you out! The whole family is waiting to "love you and kiss you and call you George".
By the way i know this picture is lousy, but like I said before, I hate prego pictures of myself. So there.

So, Tom hates, absolutely hates taking family pictures. The only option we had this year to have someone snap some photos was directly after church (on our way home we just stopped the car with our neighbor in towe). So here we are all dressed up, which is not really our style, and completely ready to make some tender memories.
The tender pictures will come later, but in this post you'll see our children in the raw...yes Paul is pulling off Tom's ears, and yes Lydia did try to strangle Tom, and YES, that is my boy taking care of nature. AND YES, that is Tom rolling his eyes in torture. Do I regret putting him through this? No, not really. I'm a mom and I wasn't stopping until we got some good shots.

Oh, and by the way, the good shots will be released when I post our holiday card. They really are cute, and Paige out-did herself especially with all the competition she was up against! Thanks for the pics and the fun laughs Paige!

That's What Friends are For

Random things

Niagra Falls. Hiking in the Wissahickon. Leaf piles. Taking the kids to the doctor. Yeah, I wish every visit was as good as this one!

Annual Family Picture

I have to at least give credit to the wonderful photographer since I didn't even pay him a dime. It was our home teacher, Taylor Meacham. I know, we belong in a Williams and Sonoma magazine. Eat your heart out.

Annual Temple Game!

Once a year we splurge on ticket to the Temple Owls football game. We get to sit in the Eagles stadium, eat a bucket of Chickie and Petes, accompained by an all too expensive hot dog and hot chocolate. The crowd is a majority of painted college students and Temple has beens, and yet we just love it. We cheer, we stomp, we patronize the megatron and we live it up. Then we go home and bless the "football Adium" in our prayers. Wow, gotta love football.

Presenting Princess Butterfly and Bob the Builder...

Oh yes, this is why I LOVE Halloween. We have only been talking about it every day for an entire month. Completely awesome. We rocked out at the YMCA trunk or treat and the Ward trick or treat. And the best part?! Lydia didn't even want to EAT her candy. I guess someone had to relieve her of THAT burden.... heh, heh, heh.
