Virginia Beach

We spent the 4th of July at Dan and Mary's house (Tom's sis) and had a blast. I know the pictures are sparce, I need to take a lesson from Mary she kept her camera with her everywhere we went...maybe that's why I left mine in the case so much. Anyway, here's the bridge that is 16 miles long in the OCEAN. What a feeling to be driving over and under such a vast amount of water. There were two 1 mile tunnels that actually go under the ocean to let boats pass above. Mom, I suggest you never try it you will die. I even felt a bit overwhelmed that on every side of us millions of pounds of water pressure was held at bay by just some cemment and steel.
Anyway, here's my fourth of July troopers taking ten(thanks to Kate for the grass DORA skirt; Lydia is in love with it), Jackers and Paully...yes Jack is quite a tall lad, and here's Lydia enthralled by the ducks.
We did so much more and had so much fun, but I have no pictures to show for it. Maybe Mary will email me some, but you'll have to check out her blog for the full coverage.

  1. Loved the pics of you and the Beck Clan! Can't wait to see you at Christmas, we are already trying to think of spectactular things for the talent show.

Your kids are getting awfully big. I love the picture of Lydie in her Dora outfit, what cutie. And I totally think that Paul looks like a mini Tara - so cute!
